Payment Policy

  • Making a reservation
    • Reservations are required to ensure availability. Advanced reservations, made at least 1 day in advance, will also receive the advanced reservation discount.
    • Same day reservations or walk-ins will be charged an additional $5 per person.  We will try to accommodate walk-ins for river trips after our reservations are served. 
  • Deposits and Payments
    • Reservations require a 30% deposit on all boating and overnight accommodations.
    • Full balance is due on arrival or prior, if preferred.  MasterCard, Visa, or Discover credit card and cash are accepted.  No personal checks.
    • Acknowledgement of Risk forms must be completed by all participants.
  • Boat rental policies
    • All boat rentals must be returned by 6pm.  Late fees apply.
    • Minimum weight allowances: Raft / 30 pounds, Canoe / 50 pounds, Kayak / 50 pounds, Tube / 65 pounds.
    • Damage Insurance:  Covers damage to rented boats while in normal use.  Does not cover intentional damage, theft, or abandonment of boats, paddles, and life jackets.   
    • Indian Head Canoes reserves the right to change the river section, length of trip, boat, or number of guests per boat due to extremely high or low river conditions.
    • Indian Head Canoes reserves the right to refuse participation to any guest who, in our judgement, is under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  Refunds will not be granted.      
  • Cabins / Camping
    • Cabins and campgrounds are exclusive to our river trip guests.  Additional fee.
    • Dogs are permitted in open floor deluxe cabins and tent campsites only. Dogs must be registered.  There is a $100 security and a fee of $25 per dog per night to stay in a cabin.  No charge for dogs to stay in our tent campgrounds. Maximum of 2 dogs per cabin or campsite.
    • Indian Head Canoes reserves the right to change campsites and / or cabins as necessary.
