Delaware River Canoeing
at Indian
Head
You'll be gliding in your canoe
quietly enough to see all that nature offers. Watch closely while on
the Delaware River and you might see eagles, deer, ducks and much
more. The canoes at Indian Head are very maneuverable, good for 2 or
3 people and ideal for families. No experience necessary in calm
water, some experience in white water.
Indian Head Canoeing rates are
daily and include boats, paddles, life jackets, free transportation,
safety & paddle instruction along with full use of our
facilities. Sales Tax not included. 6% PA and 8% NY.
We open 8am weekends and 9am weekdays April thru October.
Not all bases are open early spring and fall.

Damage Release
Option |

$1.50 per person per day releases you
from any damage to boating equipment under normal use. If
release is not taken a $10.00 per person cash security is
required. |
Cancellations
& Rain Policies |

Boating
Cancellations will be accepted without
penalty with 7 days notice prior to your trip date. Late
cancellations will be charged $10.00 per person, then a credit
certificate will be issued in the same amount for any future
trip during the current season.
Rain
checks
If it is raining at
Indian Head Canoes on the morning of your trip and is still
raining at 12 noon, you will be issued a rain check for the
date of your choice, based upon availability or a full
refund. If the rain stops before 12 noon, no refunds
will be issued. There are no rain checks or refunds once boats
are taken out regardless of weather.
Campground
Cancellations will be accepted with 7
days notice prior to your arrival date. Late
cancellations will be charged the 1st nights stay. A credit
certificate for the amount charged will then be issued for any
future date during the current season.
Log cabin,
deluxe cabins, and bunkhouse
Cancellations will be accepted without
penalty with 7 days notice prior to your arrival date.
Late cancellations will be charged the first nights
stay. There are no refunds for early departures or
cancellations due to weather. |
